Hair Raising

My hair, to say the least, is getting on my nerves. I've pushed off making an appointment, and it's gotten to the point where I throw it up in a lazy bun far too much. Until I walk into the salon and get that "why did you wait so long" stare, I've compiled some images that inspire me to avoid the bun and let my hair down altogether, practice the loose side braid or throw on a hat with some lose curls.

Come Thursday, I will be far more fetching to the eye. I'll have a new 'do, and some bangs that might give these beautiful ladies a run for their money. Still undecided if I'll go with side-swept or full-on bangs, but a girl's got a prerogative to change her mind in the days to come.

Head Meet Band

I'm always looking for new ways to spruce up my hair. The headband is always a great go-to solution for when you don't have time or just want to pull it back and still be chic. I love how these headbands incorporate current fashion trends from exposed zippers to bib necklace inspired beads.

Hair Envy

There were pros and cons to moving across country 8 months ago. I think one of the biggest cons on my list was having to leave a salon and stylist that I loved. Actually I think he moved before I did, which left me with a sub-par replacement, but that's not my point.

I came across these photos of Kate Hudson's darker do, and it made me want to find a place like...NOW! Any suggestions from you L.A girls (preferably in the Studio City or Sherman Oaks area).

I just realized, while writing this, that I used this pic as a reference for how I wanted my hair for my senior prom.

I guess Kate's hair has always had me at hello... :)
