For some of my favorite movies, there's always that specific scene that has me coming back again and again. In fact, I sometimes skip to the best part right away when I'm all alone and no one is around to judge my lack of patience. It should come as no surprise that a majority of the moments involve gorgeous gowns that encapsulate a range of stories, from a modern Cinderella's tale in opera-attending red to 80's teen angst in a pink creation all her own.

Yesterday, I found myself dressed head to toe in Zara. It's always the first store I stop in during a mall visit, and my arms are quickly engulfed with tons of fashionable options like flirty dresses, blouses, and an occasional strappy heel. Dwindling down the items in the fitting room is the hard part. It's a battle between all the things I want and what my bank account will allow, but I assume that's the story for most of us. I couldn't help but scoop up this dress with it's printed hearts and bow that give off an instant playful vibe.

When I don't have the opportunity to hit the flea markets on the weekend or thrift stores during the week, ebay is only a click away. It holds the same thrill of random treasures to be found and endless pieces to search through. A colorful ring, a vintage designer dress, they're all up for grabs. One winning bid and it could be yours, that is...unless I outbid you.

A question was proposed in a conversation the other day, and I was a bit disappointed that I didn't know the answer. What does BCBG stand for? After a quick Google search I found the answer. Gotta love technology!

In case you are just as clueless as I was, it stands for "bon chic, bon genre," a french phrase meaning "good style, good attitude." These dresses, with classic cuts and feminine details, have that little something special that are sure to exude the brand's slogan.

There's nothing better than that perfect summer dress (or dresses). Cause let's face it, one dress isn't going to cut it. One of my favorite things about summer time is that there is nothing wrong with showing some skin.
