Let me introduce myself...

So here it goes, the first blog.

Basically my intention is to create a little place where I can talk about things I love. Fashion, pop culture, and whatever tidbits I feel like sharing along the way. I’m not going to idolize celebrities or rip them apart, but I may comment on them here and there.

I want to create a fashion nook for the real people like you and I. You know the kind, the ones that live the life of bills, budgets, and the decision between that Forever 21 top or that designer one 10 times the price.

So, who am I? I’m in my early twenties trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. If my life were split into sections it would go something like this…

Step 1: I attended F.I.T (Fashion Institute of Technology) in the best city in the world, New York City. Specifically the area of midtown Manhattan that also shares my name, Chelsea.
Step 2: Graduated from UCF with a complicated degree focusing on communications, humanities, and film, plus two minors.
Step 3: Which brings me to today, living in L.A, working a monotonous retail job @ Bloomie’s, and wanting something more…way more. And I’m not just talking about that Marc Jacobs bag.

I’ve become somewhat disconnected from the fashion I love while working this job, its not that same passion I once had, the kind I saw in the streets of New York as a bright eyed and naïve girl stepping foot on those loud, bustling streets. My hope is that this will be an outlet to get back to that "place".
